Good Design Is For Everyone
Most of the things we encounter on a daily basis - buildings, furniture, clothing, were designed with some level of care. We don’t always know, and often can’t agree on who made what, but design is all around us.
The process of designing can be a kind of magic. When someone creates an object with intention, that same energy of intention is accessible to anyone who stops to notice the object.
Good design doesn’t require ownership - it is a public benefit. You don’t need to own a building to appreciate its beauty. You don’t need to be an expert to appreciate good design - you just have to notice it.
